On October 5 and 7, 2015, trainings are held for the representatives of local self-government bodies in Martvili and Sagarejo municipalities.

The goal of the training program is to brief the participants about such important issues as:

• the role of local self-governments in electoral processes;
• participation and restrictions in the pre-election campaign (agitation);
• the use of administrative resources;
• banning the use of budget funds;
• prohibiting the abuse of office or power;
• Administrative violations protocol.

Employees of the Training Center and CEC Legal Department are conducting the trainings. The participants will receive manuals prepared for this program.

The goal of the training programs prepared by the Training Center is to support the enhancement of qualification of various electoral stakeholders around electoral issues, which is a necessary precondition for smooth elections process from legal and organizational standpoint and full-fledge realization of voters’ rights.
