On May 15, the award ceremony of youth participants of the Electoral Civic Education Program was held at the Kutaisi SOS Children’s Village. The Training Center employees distributed relevant certificates to training graduates.

As part of the training program developed by the Training Center, youth at the Kutaisi SOS Children’s Village learned about such issues as the history of elections, electoral law principles, legislative framework, women participation in politics, the structure of election administration and the rule of its work, issues related to voter registration/lists and the polling day procedures. At the completion of the training young participants held mock polling.

22 participants of the project took training during May 4-15, 2015, based on the memorandum concluded among the CEC of Georgia, the Training Center, LEPL, Social Services Agency, LEPL and Association Georgia SOS Children’s Village, NCLE.
