The Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) together with the Commission members, the CEC representatives and with the director of the CEC Training Center meet the chairpersons of the District Election Commissions and the trainers.

The meeting participants discuss and evaluate the trainings conducted in the pre-election period by the CEC Training Center, work of the District Election Commissions, communication and coordination quality between the different levels of EA. DEC Chairpersons also share with the CEC representatives their experiences in terms of relations with media in election period.

During the meetings,Tamar Zhvania, the CEC chairperson, and the Commission members receive the detailed information from the DEC chairpersons regarding the 2014 Municipal Elections. The proposals and the recommendations of DEC members will greatly contribute to better plan the future activities.

The meetings will be gradually conducted from August 5 till August 12 in the regions throughout Georgia.
