The Central Election Commission of Georgia and the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings are continuing the implementation of the Training Programs for the stakeholders involved in the 2014 Local Self-Government Elections.

On May 25-26, 2014 the CEC Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings will deliver the training program to the representatives of NGOs registered at the CEC with the observer organization status for the 2014 Local Self-Government Elections and for the organizations engaged in the election processes with the observer status based on the last election data. The first stage of the above-mentioned trainings was implemented on April 27, 2014.

The training envisages awareness rising of NGOs for supporting effective implementation of observation function thereof. The representatives of the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings and the CEC Legal Department will familiarize the participants with legislative updates, polling date procedures, legal status of observers, matters related to electoral disputes and applications/complaints.
