Trainings for the observers of the local observing organization

On September 27, LEPL Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings together with the Central Election Commission and with the financial support of UNDP, provided the trainings for the observers of the local observing organization in the field of election issues. Training included 97 observers from 22 organizations and lasted until September 30.

Tamar Zhvania, head of the CEC and Natia Zaalishvili, head of LEPL Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings greeted the participants.

Participants were introduced with the updates of the election legislation, including other important issues, such as: role of the observer in the election processes, authorities of the observer, activities of the PEC on polling day, etc. The film "Polling day procedures" was screened during the training.

Guidelines prepared by the Training Center were delivered to the participants of the training.
