On September 24, 2013 Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings with the Law Department of Central Election Commission of Georgia with the financial support of UNDP held the training for lawyers of local self-government and regional administration. The training was held in CEC and was attended by the representatives from Tbilisi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and from National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia.

Participants were greeted by Mrs. Tamar Zhvania, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Georgia and Ms. Natia Zaalishvili - Director of the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings

Participants of trainings got familiar with novelties of electoral legislation and consider such actual issues as:

1. Role of local self-government in election process.
2. Involvement and restrictions in pre-election campaign (agitation).
3. Use of administrative resources. 

Participants of the training were provided with manuals prepared by the Training Center and the Law Department of CEC.
