Under the auspices of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, in cooperation with the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings and the UNDP project “Credible and Sustainable Electoral Institutions and Processes” carry out trainings for EA trainers, at the Hotel “Kvarlis Edemi”, Kvareli, from August 25 to September 5 of 2013, inclusive.
112 trainers selected by the relevant commission via EA trainers’ competition shall participate in the training, which will provide educational programs in the field of election legislation for the members of precinct and district election commission.

- Activities of Precinct Election Commission during pre-election period
- Activities of Precinct Election Commission on polling day
- Lists of voters
- Authorities of the management of PEC
- Application/complaints of polling day

- Activities of District Election Commission during pre-election period
- Lists of voters
- Registration of election participants
- Receiving and sorting of election documentation at District Election Commission
- Summing up of votes at district election commission
- Procedures for application/complaints
Combined methods will be used for trainings:
- e-learning (visualized e-program is used and study film “Election day procedures”)
- Practical teaching (practical exercise, tests, situational casuses)
- Role plays (simulating of the first session of PEC)
CEC and the Center prepared the following materials for the election administration officials:
- Additional manual for trainer
- Book of practical exercises
- Additional guideline for PEC members
- Additional guideline for DEC members
- Short memo instructions for PEC members – check-list (memos for commission chairman, commission secretary, registrar, flow arranger, supervisor of the box and special envelopes, commission members accompanying mobile voting box).
