Under UNDP Georgia project “Promotion Credible and Sustainable Electoral Institutions and Processes” with the financial support of EU and in partnership with the CEC of Georgia and the Centre of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings, launched accomplishment of the large-scale project “Elections and the importance of participation in elections”.

Project aims awareness of the young voters, supporting of their civil awareness and activation of first time voters (importance of the project is provisioned by coming 2013 presidential elections and 2014 local self-government elections).

Project is to be accomplished in 14 higher educational institutions singing the memorandum, including 5 regional and 9 capital universities.

11 trainers of the Center provide trainings for the first and second course students of the higher educational institutions.
