The CEC Training Centre implements informational – training course for the members of special groups established to ensure realization of electoral rights for the voters temporarily residing in stationary-medical facilities and isolation (quarantine, self-isolation) on October 2, 2021 Municipal Elections.

In accordance with the training concept, full composition of the special groups will undergo trainings. Participants will receive information on the following key issues within their competence:

• special groups first session and casting of lots to determine two members carrying mobile ballot box;
• measures to be taken in order to prevent the spread of infection caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19);
• opening the station – persons authorised to be present in the special group’s temporary residence and their rights;
• polling procedure while using mobile ballot box;
• procedures to be applied prior to opening ballot boxes;
• opening mobile ballot box;
• sorting/counting/sealing ballots;
• drawing up summary protocol;
• submitting/reacting to polling day applications/complaints.

The training will be based on practical learning, it is provided to perform various thematic exercises.

73 trainers (members of DECs who will engage in project as a trainers) trained by the Training Centre will ensure implementation of the trainings.
