The Training Center, as part of the Memorandum of Cooperation with partner universities, implemented proprietary program in electoral law at 7 universities during the 2018-2019 academic year autumn semester.

295 students (189 female, 106 male) took the semestrial course at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, David Aghmashenebeli University, Eastern European University, Tbilisi Open Teaching University, Gori State Teaching University and Samtskhe-Javakheti State University. As part of the Program, bachelor students of the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Political and Social Studies, and the Faculty of Journalism learned about elections related national regulations and international election practices. At the end of the accredited educational program, through January 31, 2019, the students passed final exams.

It should be noted that law students took part in staged trials held at five universities as part of the program. This component is a novelty in the academic studies; and is aimed at developing practical skills, along with the enhancement of professional knowledge.

Another stage of the Electoral Law academic program will start in spring semester, 2018-2019, from March. 4,998 students have taken the mentioned program since 2010 to date.
