Training for media representatives on “Election Coverage” organized by the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings, Konrad Adenauer Foundation and “DW” Academy is finished. 

15 participants selected via competition participated in training. 

“DW” Academy experts Eberhard Zucker and Juta Fom Hoffe shared their experience to the participants on election coverage, preparation of preparation of press-releases, written applications, election publications; participants were also introduced with political communication tools and methods during election campaign.     

Experts of Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings introduced to the participants regulation of elections in Georgia, major principles of elections, election legislation framework and rights of the mass media representatives in election processes. Special attention was paid to balloting day procedures.

Additional guidelines prepared by the Training Center were delivered to the participants. 

At the end of the training, participants were awarded with certificates.
