The Training Centre has trained the trainers of the Election Administration for the President of Georgia October 28, 2018 Elections. The ToT was held during September 4-25 in five streams.

The training course was comprised of a variety of important topics, among them:

• A new trainings concept that envisages training members of election commissions through specialized program (PEC leadership and other members of commissions will acquire specialized knowledge relevant to their powers);
• Trainings administration – trainings sytem and stages, trainings methodology, training materials;
• Powers of DEC;
• Powers of PEC;
• The voting process (including the rules of communication and norms of conduct with respect to voters with disabilities and;
• Voters’ personal data protection;
• Completing voting results summarizing protocol;
• Electoral security
• Voting day application/complaints.

15 representatives of the pool of trainers delivered the training program developed by the Training Centre to the members of 73 DECs during September 18-24.

PEC members’ trainings will be held in 4 stages during September 30 to October 23 and will be delivered by 181 trainers trained by the Training Centre.
