To support the development of qualified human resources for the election administration, from June 21 through June 29, the Training Center will implement a new training program Electoral Administrator Courses specialized Program – for potential lawyers of DECs.

Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chair, and Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director, opened the event. They spoke about the significance of the above-mentioned project.

Awareness-raising and training course developed by the Training as part of the project envisages a two-day training program focused on administrative proceedings concerning polling day applications/complaints. In the practical training format, the participants will be familiarized with the following important matters:

• causes for electoral disputes: identifying procedural risks at polling stations on a polling day;
• Administrative proceedings;
• Organizing and process of DEC session;
• Preparation of DEC Chair/Commission Chair decision on electoral disputes;
• Plea template and details.

6 groups will take the training course, in stages. The Training Center employees are delivering the Electoral Administrator Courses.
