From October 16 to October 20, 2017 informational project “Informed Young Voters” was implemented in 9 partner universities of Training Centre - Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University, Sokhumi State University, Tbilisi Open Teaching University, International Black Sea University, Gori State Teaching University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

The initiative was aimed at providing 2-hour seminars for the students of universities, which was dedicated to the introduction of importance of the election and the role of voters in the election process. In total, 525 students participated in the project, among them women - 396, men - 129.

The project “Informed Young Voters“ was launched in 2013 and is aimed at promoting election related issues among young voters, support raising their civic awareness and informing the students around full-fledged realization of their electoral rights; this, in turn, envisages supporting enhanced active engagement of young voters in elections.
