In accordance with the training concept, elaborated for October 21, 2017 Municipal Elections, additional trainings for new (replaced) members of precinct election commissions, as well as for those members who had been unable to attend the scheduled trainings for the PECs members, were conducted on October 11-12, 2017.

Within the framework of the trainings the participants were introduced to the following main training modules:

• PEC activities during the period prior to the polling day (unified list of voters, special list and the rule of designing a list for the mobile ballot box);
• PEC activities on the polling day (opening polling station and procedures to be performed before voting, the voting process, closing the polling station, summarizing voting results)
• Policy promoting engagement of persons with disabilities in the election process;
• Applications/complaints on the polling day;
• Conflict management.

In total, 3544 members participated in the training, among them, 2306 - woman and 1238- man.
