From October 16, 2017 informational project “Informed Young Voters” has begun. The project will be implemented in Training Centre’s 9 partner universities, among them 4 regional universities:

• Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University;
• Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University;
• Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University;
• Gori State Teaching University;

And five universities in Tbilisi:

• Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University;
• Sokhumi State University;
• Tbilisi Open Teaching University;
• International Black Sea University;
• Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University;

The initiative provides 2-hour seminars for the students of universities, which is dedicated to the introduction of importance of the election and the role of voters in the election process. The target group is young voters between the age of 18 and 21. The seminars will be delivered by the trainers trained by the Training Center.

Project “Informed Young Voter” is being implemented from 2013 and aims raising awareness of the young voters, supporting of their civil awareness and activation of first time voters.
