On October 10-11, CEC and the Training Centre conducted trainings for the representatives of electoral subjects (political parties, electoral blocs, initiative groups) and observers, who were registered at the CEC for participation in elections at the time of planning of trainings. In total, 41 participants attended the training, among them, 8 represented electoral and 33 local observer organizations.
Nino Berulava, deputy director of the Training Centre opened the event. The goal of the awareness-raising program is to inform electoral stakeholders around election issues and facilitate effective performance of their functions. With regard to October 21, 2017 Municipal Elections the participants were introduced to the following important issues:
Trainings were held at “Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel” in Tbilisi. The representatives of the Training Centre and the CEC Legal Department delivered the trainings. Relevant training manuals were handed to the participants.
