In commemoration of the Global Elections Day, students from the Black Sea International University visited the CEC and the Training Center. Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chair, and Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director met with the students of law, international relations and public administration and public policy programs.
Tamar Zhvania briefed the students about the activities of the Election Administration and underscored the importance of elections for the democratic development of the country. In her address, Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director, focused on the Training Center activities related to the civic awareness raising prpograms and projects.
The students viewed historical photos on electoral topics displayed at the CEC. They met with heads of structural units of the CEC and the Training Center and learned about specificities of work of various departments.
Global Elections Day is marked annually in the first week of February.
