From May 23 to June 10, 2016 The Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC) and the Training Center will implement the awareness raising and training project Courses for Electoral Administrators. The mentioned courses envisage the review of polling procedures to raise civic awareness around electoral issues and facilitate the formation of qualified cadre at the electoral administration.

The project will be implemented in 22 municipalities of Georgia:

A citizen of Georgia from the age of 18 is eligible to participate in the training course. It is desirable that an individual willing to participate in the project has experience of working at election administration, experience of participation at elections in the capacity of an observer, certificate of an electoral administration officer and/or certificate of the Electoral Development School. Gender equality principle will be taken into account when designing the teams of participants.

For participating in the course, you have to fill out an application (See the Application Form) and submit it to the district election commission, according to the location of project implementation, from April 25, through May 5. When submitting an application, you should have an identification document with you.

The trainers of the Training Center and members of district election commissions will deliver the training course. The project is implemented in partnership with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
