On May 4, 2018, the deadline for receiving competition documentation presented by NGOs under the grant competition announced on April 16 has ended.
64 grant projects were submitted, of these:
First direction – raise voter awareness for the President of Georgia 2018 Elections - 20 grant projects
Second direction - promote raising level of electoral awareness and civic engagement of young voters for the President of Georgia 2018 Elections – 19 grant projects
Third direction - supporting the participation of vulnerable groups and women for the President of Georgia 2018 Elections – 25 grant projects
The Secretariat of the grant competition commission formed as part of the competition would continuously provide to interested individuals information as to the rule of submitting competition documentation, via a hotline.
The Rule of Awarding Grants governs the rule of examining the matter of submission of full competition documentation by NGOs. NGOs are allowed to fix competition documents that have not been submitted in full within the established timeframes. The secretariat of the grant competition commission coordinates this interaction with NGOs, via sending relevant e-mail and SMS to their phone. The above-mentioned provides additional means for proactive cooperation of the Training Center with NGOs.
Updates related to the grant competition will gradually be posted on the website.
